Cupcakes
have turned into a global trend that has caused little cupcake shops to pop up
all around the world. While I think that sometimes the look of a cupcake tends
to be better than the actual taste, we are lucky to have a pretty excellent
cupcake shop here in Düsseldorf as well.
Sugarbird
Cupcakes opened as a small shop in the outer-parts of Düsseldorf but now has a
second locations right in the heart of the city! There you can choose between
Cupcakes, Macarrons and other sweets that all taste delicious. My favorite is
probably the classic chocolate Cupcake with white chocolate filling but some of
the other choices are pretty delicious as well. I also like the fact that they
always offer a special edition next to the cupcake staples and that they create
themed cupcakes for holidays.

Cupcakes have already become the present of choice at work for co-workers and
holidays because there isn’t really anything better than a chocolate cupcake
with rich frosting to lighten up the day!
