The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2013 announced

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants have recently been announced and there were some remarkable changes to last year's list! The biggest one is cetrainly the dethroning of Danish restaurant Noma which was last year's winner and has been the most talked about restaurant of 2012.

In contrast to Nomas experimental approach the new leader is now Spanish El Celler de Can Roca which marks a return of the Catalonia as the world's leading culinary region! From 2006 until 2009, the restaurant El Bulli was holding the torch for Catalonia and is now replaced as the top notch restaurant in Spain by El El Celler de Can Roca.

Germany also made the Top 10 with Joachim Wissler's gourmet temple "Vendome" in Bergisch Gladbach!
