Yesterday, I accidentaly found this newly-opened streetwear shop in Düsseldorf called “SOUQ”. The store front looked pretty nice and so...
When it comes to sneakers, “Supreme NYC” has always provided extremely high quality designs that sold-out in minutes. They have worked with pretty much every big label from “Clarks” to “Vans” but yet again it’s their “Nike” collaborations that I adore the most.

Lately, it looks like Disney has increased it's marketing efforts to get a little more trendy and fashionable. Starting with a New Era basecap collaboration it is now targeting the High-Fashion sector with some great video spots. During last year's Christmas time, some of their famous characters were given the Fashionista-makeover by slimming down the silhouettes and by letting them wear some of the hottest brands right now like Balenciaga or Givenchy.

Since the sneaker game hasn't been very exciting recently, this collabo is definately a breath of fresh air. The second pairing of N...
Arguably the most boundary-pushing and trendsetting store in retail over the last 1 1/2 decades, Colette has celebrated their birthday with a super sweet 15 party that was far more entertaining than the ones from spoiled little teens seen on MTV.
The three day long party with the title "Colette Carnaval" marked a highlight in Paris and I am sure that the "jardin des Tuileries" hasn't seen an event like this since the royal family's partys a few centuries ago.
The store invited numerous brands, artists etc. to come up with little booths, workshops or games to entertain visitors of all ages. It seemed like everyone tried their best to come up with something original and funny. This way visitors could take ballet classes from "repetto", play Basektball on the "Nike"and "Pigalle" court, buy sneakers on the "Solemart" by "Solebox", watch Kevin Lyons paint a car by "Fiat", jump in "A Bathing Apes"'s banana pool or get their nails done at "Uslu Airlines".
On top of this there where excellent musical guests on hand like MOLIMU's favorites Busy-P, Radio Soulwax or even Kid Cudi!
The fact that a retail store can even get the permission to celebrate its birthday at such an important place in the city of Paris shows not only the influence of Colette, but also tells us a lot about the significance of creativity and fashion in french society.
Check out the highlight videos and pictures after the jump

This little video shows perfectly why Supreme has been able to survive in the competitive market for urban wear. They are in the centre of New York's young in-crowd and connect this advantage to a shopping experience that is different from other stores. This time they celebrated the newest Supreme collaboration with shoemakers Lakai in their in-store bowl by having a relaxed and fun skateboard session with some of the best skaters in the world like Mike Carrol, Guy Mariano or Kevin "Spanky" long.
