When it comes to fashion "arte" is hands down the only choice that offers a quality selection of informative and aesthetic shows. This weekend, they underlined this impression once again by airing quite the selection of fashion documentaries. Under the moniker "arte Fashion Weekend", the Franco-German TV station has shown many of Loic Prigent's fabulous fashion documentaries. While I already knew the "Before the show..." series, I was particularly blown away by his new production "Karl Lagerfeld se dessine". This documentary shows KL designing some of his most important moments in life and it's extremely fascinating to watch him recreate outfits and designs from the top of his head.

I can only urge every one of you to check out some of the documentaries on the arte mediathek as they give fantastic insights into the fashion world, that are not only appealing to fashionistas.
